The BRSD Superintendent’s Fund was created by former BRSD Superintendent, Robert McNamara. The purpose of the fund is to support BRSD in its mission to enrich the lives of young people and adults served by the District by providing financial support for academic, cultural, and athletic endeavors. Since 2017 the fund has been utilized by current BRSD Superintendent, Matthew Button, to provide an annual scholarship to a BRSD Senior who has consistently demonstrated exceptional character, specifically in the form of honesty, integrity, good citizenship, and has preserved through challenges throughout their high school career.
