John J. & Ann Vitale Scholarships are Available for Adult Students
College Seniors and Graduate Students who will complete their studies during the 2025-2026 academic year are encouraged to apply for The John J. & Ann Vitale Scholarship at The Community Foundation of the Endless Mountains. This scholarship is available to alumni of the six school districts in Susquehanna County who are in their final year of college or graduate school and have incurred student debt.
Multiple awards will be given. Additionally, if undergraduate students attend college within Pennsylvania, we may nominate them for potential partial matching state funding from PHEAA.
Applications must be submitted by June 23, 2025. A link to the application is available on The Community Foundation’s website starting May 5th.
Recipients will be selected during the summer to ensure timely payment directly to their colleges, allowing students to make appropriate financial plans.
John Vitale passed away in March of 2006, after a lifetime of supporting his community and neighbors. This scholarship is one way his family has chosen to honor his memory and continue a tradition of community support.
