Women Helping Women Announces Available Grants and Annual Brunch

The Women Helping Women Fund of The Community Foundation of the Endless Mountains, a division of Commonwealth Charitable Management, Inc., is now accepting grant applications and is announcing the Mother’s Day Brunch on May 4, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.at the Community Foundation of the Endless Mountains.

Women Helping Women’s funding priorities are: education, promoting economic self-sufficiency, women’s health, leadership development and personal safety/serving women and girls in crisis situations. We are looking for established programs and projects that use an innovative approach to create positive change and that demonstrate the potential to improve the well-being of women and/or girls of the Endless Mountains.

The grants committee will review all proposals and decisions will be announced at the annual Mother’s Day brunch. Chosen agencies will be notified in advance so they can be present to accept the award.

Women Helping Women will consider requests from any 501(c)(3) organization for a program or project that will benefit any aged women and girl residents of the Endless Mountains Region. It will also consider requests from certain local government agencies, municipalities and public school systems within its service area, provided that the proposed project fits the Fund’s criteria for consideration.

The deadline to submit grant applications is March 1, 2024.

Grant awards will be distributed at our annual Mother’s Day Brunch on Saturday, May 4, 2024, 10:30 A.M to 12:00 P.M., at the Community Foundation of the Endless Mountains, 270 Lake Avenue, Montrose, PA 18801.

Brunch reservations can be made by calling 570-278-5449. RSVP by April 15 to attend the brunch. Suggested donation for the catered brunch is $30.
